Helene M. Aisenstat, M.D.

Helene is the co-founder of Smokeless Plus, parent company of Auricular Laser Therapy of Vermont. She was raised in Barre, Vermont and attended local elementary and high schools. She is a graduate of Jeanne Mance School of Nursing. She completed Medical School in 1986. Soon after, she completed family practice training at Deaconess Medical Center in St. Louis and is Board Certified in Family Medicine. Helene is fluent in French and speaks basic Spanish. Following residency, Helene spent 16 years working in the Saint Louis area. Helene established a very successful practice, Family Practice of South County, in Saint Louis with her husband, Robert, where she has practiced since 1999. When she is not at work, Helene spends her time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoys interior decorating, water sports, reading, and traveling.

Robert Aisenstat, M.D.

Robert is the co-founder of Smokeless Plus, parent company of Auricular Therapy of Vermont. He was raised in Brooklyn, New York, and completed his undergraduate studies at City College of New York. He graduated from medical school in 1986 and completed his residency program at Deaconess Medical in St. Louis, MO. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine. On off hours, Robert spends his time working on the computer, enjoys golfing, water sports, and traveling.

Dr. Robert is also an ex-smoker. He smoked for 40 years as a diabetic, and he has had bypass surgery. Having a need to quit, he chose this method because all else had failed, and now he is smoke-free, feels wonderful, and has been for the past two years. Because this worked on him, he has decided to share this with his patients. He has been providing this service to his patients for more than a year and has had outstanding success. Right now, he is in great health and many of his colleagues are referring patients to him for smoking cessation.
